MIFFLINTOWN – Holding their first meeting of February the Juniata County Commissioners welcomed Dennis Hutchings, director of Juniata County Veterans Affairs, who gave a presentation on the official United States flag retirement box the organization has available. The box was provided through a partnership between National Association of Counties and the Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania. “They made up a box that we can keep in the office here at the Veterans Affairs office.” Hutchings said, “Inside the first door that is open to the public, you can drop off your flag and then in turn we’ll get them to the right place to get them burned.” ....
