Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 with 13.5″ / 15″ PixelSense display, 11th Gen Intel Core / AMD Ryzen 4000 series processors launched in India
Microsoft has launched the Surface Laptop 4 in India after it was introduced last month. It comes in two sizes – 13.5-inch and 15-inch. Both these come with 11th Generation Intel Core processor up to Core i7 with Intel’s latest Iris Xe graphics and AMD Ryzen 7 4000 series with AMD Radeon Graphics, up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM, up to 512GB of SSD storage, tone-on-tone Alcantara and machined aluminum all-metal finish.
These retain the same 3:2 PixelSense touchscreen displays, built-in HD front-facing camera, and the new models support Dolby Atmos Omnisonic speakers. The 13.5″ AMD Ryzen model promise up to 19 hours of battery life.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 customized Ryzen CPU parameters announced
Microsoft has officially released the Surface Laptop 4 which is the company’s latest flagship laptop. In addition to the 11th-generation Core version, there is also an optional Surface custom AMD Ryzen processor. Microsoft officially announced the parameters of the two processors R5 4680U and R7 4980U.
R5 4680U: 6 cores and 12 threads, 2.1-4.0GHz
R7 4980U: 8 cores and 16 threads, 2.0-4.4Ghz
Microsoft’s official website did not announce the parameters of the nuclear display. However, there are reports that it is the same as the AMD public version.
In addition, AMD’s latest R5 5500U and R7 5700U also use the Zen2 architecture. You might as well compare it with the Microsoft customized version.
