The NBA Cares 75th Live, Learn or Play Initiative will provide Esperanza Elementary School with a green schoolyard; the refurbished yard will be done in partnership with Kaiser Permanente, NRDC, the Living Schoolyards Coalition, and the L.A. Neighborhood Land Trust.

April 19, 2022 – The Charlotte Hornets, in partnership with Bank of America, tomorrow will unveil renovations to Allenbrook Elementary School’s library, which over the past few weeks has been transformed into a multi-use library, media and tutoring space, as part of the Hornets NBA Cares 75thAnniversary Project presented by Bank of America.

On Wednesday, the Wizards and Heart of America completed and unveiled renovations at The Unselds’ School in Baltimore, MD., part of the NBA75 Live, Learn and Play initiative celebrating decades of league history in a milestone season and its teams’ connections to their local communities.

To celebrate the birthday of Hall of Famer Wes Unseld, the Washington Wizards and Heart of America announced that they have joined forces to renovate The Unselds’ School as part of the NBA 75th Live, Learn or Play initiative that celebrates the league’s historic milestone season.
