A LARGE trailer has been stolen from an industrial estate in Farnworth – costing a business thousands and leaving the firm unable to carry out jobs. The storage vehicle was taken from a unit on Edge Fold Industrial Estate on Plodder Lane at around 12.40am on Friday. It belongs to property maintenance business owner Michael Smith, who used the trailer to transport furniture and other items from properties, which would then be taken to the tip or recycled.
