A driver who was disqualified in 2019 had their car seized by police today. Police stopped the driver in Plodder Lane, Farnworth, earlier today after discovering the car had no insurance and the driver was disqualified. The driver had been disqualified from driving in October 2019, according to police, as well as driving without any insurance. They have been reported for summons with their vehicle also seized by police. CHEER: Members of Bolton Two Hats Scooter Club drop off selection boxes at the Royal Bolton Hospital A FLEDGLING scooter club has rounded off its debut year with a ride out in aid of youngsters at the Royal Bolton Hospital. Riders from Bolton Two Hats collected more than 80 selection boxes and other gifts to donate to young patients. And nurses were on hand at the Plodder Lane to take delivery of the windfall, under the current social distancing guidelines. A spokesman for the club said Two Hats was formed just before the pandemic and now had 64 members, with its own Facebook page.
