Patient transfers can occur between hospitals as part of Queensland s broader management of COVID-19 patients, the spokeswoman said. The update came as the state s chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young revealed Queensland Health believed it had identified the missing link in the first of Brisbane s two most recent clusters. A nurse from Princess Alexandra Hospital, who was no longer an active case and no longer infectious, was pinpointed through serology testing. Dr Young said the investigation had revealed she was most likely infectious in mid-March. The investigation linked the nurse directly to the same patient who had infected another clinician and the pair had worked on the same ward. ....
