The special purpose vehicles will be established across seven states to boost the textile sector

The decline in Chinese garment exports to Japan provides an excellent opportunity for India's apparel industry to increase shipments. According to the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), a strong Indian garment sector with unique offerings provides significant potential for Japanese trading companies to source from India.

Integrated Textile Park In Amravati: Spanning across a contiguous 1020 acres of land at Nandgaon Peth, adjacent to the Additional Amravati Industrial Area (MIDC), the Park is situated just 30 kilometers away from the Mumbai Nagpur Samruddhi Highway and 147 kilometers from the nearest port, the Wardha Dry Port. As a brownfield park, it already possesses infrastructure such as roads, water, and electricity.

These parks will be set up in seven states namely; Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

PM MITRA mega textile parks will boost the textiles sector in line with 5F (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision. Glad to share that PM MITRA mega textile parks would be set up in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP and UP, said PM Narendra Modi.
