ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. A man has died after a fatal crash in north St. Louis County Sunday night.
At around 10:16 p.m., St. Louis County police officers were called to Poggemoeller Avenue and Redman Road for an accident. This is in Spanish Lake.
According to investigators, a Saturn L300 sedan was travelling east on Redman Road and a Buick Lucerne was traveling west. The Buick began making a turn onto Poggemoeller when the Saturn hit it in the intersection.
The driver of the Buick was taken to a hospital where he later died. He was identified as 38-year-old Daryle Jones of St. Charles.

EDWARDSVILLE After a year’s absence, a new Madison County Grand Jury was empaneled this week and quickly went to work, handing down several indictments Thursday.
The new grand jury was part of the expansion of in-person hearings and other court activities, which have been severely limited by the coronavirus pandemic.
The last grand jury in Madison County started work in January 2020, according to Circuit Judge Kyle Napp.
“We picked and empaneled this grand jury on Wednesday and Thursday of this week,” she said. “Their session runs from March 4 through June 24.”

EDWARDSVILLE A man shot by a Madison County deputy in Missouri Dec. 30 following an alleged armed robbery in Glen Carbon and subsequent car chase now faces additional charges for two similar incidents in local store parking lots.
Earl A. Barber, 41, of Ferguson, was charged Jan. 12 with two counts of attempt armed robbery, both Class 1 felonies; unlawful possession of weapons by a felon, a Class 3 felony related to a Dec. 27 incident in Collinsville; and three separate charges of theft from the person, all Class 3 felonies, stemming from incidents in Collinsville on Dec. 1, Glen Carbon on Dec. 4 and Edwardsville on Dec. 14.
