Another storm is expected late in the week. Here’s the forecast.
A flood warning was issued Sunday for the Ventura River as a slow-moving storm into Southern California.
Total rainfall amounts on Sunday are expected to range between 2 to 4 inches throughout the Central Coast, with higher amounts in the coastal mountains due to orographic enhancement.
Heavy rain flooded California roadways and much-needed snow piled up in the mountains as the first of back-to-back atmospheric rivers pummeled the state.
The second atmospheric river, expected to move in late Saturday, is already predicted to be “the largest storm of the season,” according to the National Weather Service.
