Everything Everywhere All At Once's original script was even weirder
Directors Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan explain the deleted scene from their tie-in artbook A Vast, Pointless Gyration of Radioactive Rocks and Gas in Which You Happen to Occur. The sequence would have echoed Douglas Adams, Charlie Kaufman, and Paul Thomas Anderson — and might have featured Susan Sarandon as the movie’s narrator, and an alternate for Michelle Yeoh.
