More than a dozen federal agents reportedly conducting this operation earlier today at the federal Corrections Institute at dublin kron. 4 suitable joins us now live outside the facility with what we know right now. This is a troubled facility and we have seen several unmarked cars driving in and out of this facility for several hours in the several hours that weve been here. We cannot make out who is coming in and out. But obviously we assume several of them are fbi agents. Temperatures out there this morning. Really chilly. It is a relatively clear starting this you from the berkeley hills. We do have frost advisories for the north bay marine sonoma and napa counties up until 09 00am this morning. Temperatures are well down in the 30s for spots like fairfax, santa rosa as well as saint helene, while, napa, sonoma and vallejo. You were in the 30s earlier now back up to 40 degrees. Weve seen a few showers in the bay this morning and still some lingering snow up in the Sierra Nevada. Our activity is definitely on the decline, though. So sort of activity you see this morning. Is that really going to stick around much today . We do have some light showers around oakland on up to concord at this moment, but nothing that should be slowing. You down too much. Reports of a man brandishing a knife. They try to deal with that situation at that location. But they say the man jumped into a car, took off that resulted in a pursuit. And during the pursuit, they say the man got out fired shots at deputies hitting for them before hopping back into his car. Taking off from the scene. But not before a sheriffs deputies returned fire on him. He ultimately crashed and died. They dont know if he died from gunfire or because he crashed his car and hit say, for example, a poll thats still part of the investigation, whether he was hit or not by the deputies. As pfar as the deputies, we do know that one was hit in the head critical but stable condition. 3 others, one was hit in the hand. 2 others in the leg at this particular point. The suspects name not being released to the public, but this area stony point road, you can see, as i mentioned, more officers arriving to the scene. Heres another one for you.
