Supporting the president s position in these polling questions. absolutely. but this is part of the i mean, this is one of the reasons the president likes leading the bubble, as he calls washington, d.c. we saw this with the health care debate. there were a huge number of american who is didn t understand what was happening in terms of health care reform. and again, i mean, i think there are people that the republicans have been touting deficit, deficit, deficit, the bottom line, and when it comes to real reform of entitlement programs, there s a lot of fear out there. and the president, iç think, needs to explain to the american people what the republican package is specifically and again how he is going to try and preserve these programs in the long term and reform them in a way that is theoretically more sensible. alex wagner of the huffington post, thanks for your time tonight, alex. thanks, lawrence. joining me now is ezra klein, columnist for the washington post ....
