Nominations will be accepted through March 24. The class will be announced in June and the program begins in August.
Unfiltered Lakeland will celebrate its grand opening at 11 a.m. on Feb. 25 at 801 E. Main St, formerly home of The Poor Porker.
The garden festival, which was a hit last year when it was known as Plantopia, will have more than 20 vendors selling a variety of plants.
The Poor Porker will serve for the last time on Sunday, ahead of Lakeland's Red White and Kaboom celebration. It will be replaced by Unfiltered Lakeland.
