Barrow shipyard worker Gumshoe set for stardom with help of Lady Gaga and Foals producer
Phil Hampson, from Barrow, has released a new single today under the pseudonym 'Gumshoe'. The 27-year-old, who lives in Ulverston, has been involved in music for over a decade, playing at Radio 1's Big Weekend with his former band Audio Conspiracy. The band went on to become Haarts before Mr Hampson decided to focus on solo ventures - writing, recording and producing all his own music.
