Greater Erie Alliance for Equality (GEAE) hosted its 12th signature annual event, Afternoon for Equality, at the Watson-Curtze Mansion at the Hagen History Center on Sunday, June 4. This annual event was moved back to June to kick off Pride Month! Guests and sponsors of GEAE gathered together for friendship and equality amongst spring and summer flowers by Potratz Floral Shop & Greenhouses while being treated to heavy Italian/Mediterranean hors d oeuvres by Make It Fabulous Catering, music by the Stephen Trohoske Trio, and an open bar. GEAE s board of directors, Cody Empey, president; Kyle Hannon, vice president; Kim Moscatello-Seastone, secretary; and directors Marsha Dietrich-McLean, Darrin Kinander, April Knapp, Carol Rodgers, and Evan Tucker, host this event as a significant fundraiser that helps empower GEAE to support the region s LGBTQ+ community and its allies through educational programs, social events, and service opportunities.
