Country. texas and louisiana, we are going to see some of the worst weather for today. that s where we re seeing some of the strongest thunderstorm right now, the heaviest poun dou downpours of rain. the realtime frequent lightning strikes and severe weather warnings popping up along the coastline. and as we expand this outlook a little bit further to the east, new orleans is getting hadity right now with shotty showers and storms. rough go of it in the gulf and up through mississippi as well. and speaking of the gulf, we re still monitoring the weather in and around the oil spill and how it s affecting it. you can see the heaviest oil has formed a shape a little bit further to the north. that s because the winds have been coming from the southeast steering it somewhat in that direction. we are going to see a wind change later this week. i ll have more on that plus a look at the rest of the forecast in just a bit. back to you. thank you, bonnie. thanks for keeping track of everything ....
