Cake Box founder Sukh Chamdal, 61, (pictured) and four other defendants pleaded not guilty to illegally felling the trees in a woodland at Debden Hall, Essex.
The vegetarian-friendly cream cake maker said it expects to record adjusted pre-tax earnings in line with market forecasts and a hike in revenues of about half for the 12 months to the end of March.
