Representative image THANE: A magistrate court in Thane convicted a 40-year-old man on Monday for sexually abusing a female stray dog and sentenced him to six months’ jail term. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1,050 on him. The lawyers’ fraternity claimed that this was a first-ofits-kind judgement. TOI, in its edition of July 26, 2020, was the first to report the incident.
