Discount broker 5paisa.Com to raise Rs 250 cr from warrants, preferential issue
Mumbai, Apr 14: Listed discount broker 5paisa.Com on Wednesday said it is raising Rs 250 crore through a preferential issue of shares to investors and warrants to promoters.
The investment will be made by Ward Ferry, Fairfax and RIMCO, along with the promoter group, which includes IIFL’s Nirmal Jain, Madhu Jain and R Venkataraman, an official statement said.
The issue of shares and warrants will be done at the price of Rs 500 per share, which represents a premium of 70 per cent over Tuesday’s closing price of Rs 293 on the NSE, the statement added. ....
