Potter County hosts regular meeting of Commissioners' Court During Monday’s meeting of the Potter County Commissioners’ Court, discussion and action occurred surrounding the director of a key department in the county.  During the meeting, the court approved the hiring of Judy Woodard as the county’s new director of its human resources department in a 3-2 vote, following the retirement of Kay Holland. In session Monday morning, Brown County Commissioners were presented a petition from those opposed to a proposed solar farm and requested tax abatement by the developer, IP Radian.  The project is in southwest Brown County near Brookesmith and in the Brookesmith Independent School District. Two citizens against the proposed project and requested tax abatements, Steve Wilson and Jeff Tucker, both spoke briefly representing the TLOW group, Texas Landowners Opposed to Wind.
