Preparedness message and people are taking it seriously. the red cross has been preparing for this storm specifically since the beginning of the week, although we prepare 365 days a year for incidents like this. but i know here in north carolina, i'm here in wilmington, north carolina, and we had hundreds of volunteers that were on standby and remain available to help with anything from feeding to bulk distribution of supplies to mental health support. anything that the community needs at this point. >> and what's the scene like on the ground there in north carolina from the red cross perspect...
