Preston Simons Google's sister company Verily Life Sciences has named Preston Simons as its chief information officer. As Verily's CIO, Simons will build out the Alphabet subsidiary's information-technology systems and strategies. Simons mostly recently worked as a consultant as president and managing partner of Simons & Associates, a role he started in 2018.
