Courtney Freedlund ALPENA New principals will greet students at Ella White Elementary School, Lincoln Elementary School, and Thunder Bay Junior High School when school begins in August. Courtney Fredlund, who is currently principal at Ella White, has been named principal at Lincoln Elementary School. Fredlund will replace Principal Hans Stevens who is retiring after 31 years with Alpena Public Schools. Alpena High School Principal Tom Berriman will relocate to Ella White Elementary School and AHS Assistant Principal Katie Lee has been named principal of Thunder Bay Junior High School.
