Hotel fireball leads to High Court fight

A HORRIFIC explosion in a hotel snack bar seven years ago, which led to an eight-year-old girl and her mum being “set on fire”, is at the centre of a High Court claim.
Kirsteen Hughes and her daughter, Robyn, from Radcliffe, went to the pool at the four-star Bahia Principe Tenerife hotel, in Costa Adeje, within an hour of checking in for their Christmas 2013 holiday.
But as they went to the hotel snack bar they were caught in what has been described as a “massive explosion” which left both of them in flames.
A claim has now been lodged at the High Court in London seeking compensation for Robyn, now 15 but aged eight at the time. ....
