Printmann who bagged the Packaging Company of the Year - Folding Cartons (Boutique) at the PrintWeek Awards 2023, announced the induction of Somerset Indus Capital Partners as a minority investor as well as a subsidiary Pakcellence. The announcement was made in the presence of Printmann’s employees, customers and packaging partners on 13 February. The aim: To be the world’s most preferred packaging partner. Somerset Indus Capital Partners has made an investment in the Printmann Group.

This marks the seventh and final investment of the PE firm’s second investment vehicle that was closed in 2019 with a corpus of $76 million.

In an interesting turn of events, Mumbai-based TCPL Packaging edged out last year’s winner Manipal Technologies to take home the coveted PrintWeek Printing Company of Year Prism at the PrintWeek Awards 2023 gala ceremony held at The Westin Mumbai Powai Lake on 30 October.
