Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Review: Noise Cancellation Beats Competition

Charging
App
Design and comfort
The QuietComfort wireless earbuds from Bose take on a fairly typical design. They're oval shaped, made of plastic, lightweight, discreet, and barely stick out of your ears. Still, the AirPods Pro are smaller and lighter overall, but not so discreet with their iconic design and short stem.
They come with three eartip size options to ensure a good fit. The eartips themselves are very soft rubber and have a wingtip-style hook that helps keep them in your ears.
If you're used to in-ear designs that feel like earplugs, like myself, you may think that you have a bad fit. But that's unlikely to be the case. The lightweight and discreet design, combined with the soft rubber tips, make for an extremely comfortable fit inside your ear. That said, my confidence in that fit is often questionable. They never feel like they'll actually fall out, but I have to trust that the fit is good, even if they feel loose at times.

Razer Huntsman V2 Analog Gaming Keyboard Review

Design
Razer's Huntsman V2 Analog looks mundane at first glance. The keyboard has a simple, standard layout that lacks macro keys or other unusual features, aside from a small volume knob and a few media keys just above the numpad. It's only available in matte black. Even the customizable RGB backlighting is a bit dim. Kingston's Hyper X or Corsair's RGB keyboards can light up an entire room. The Huntsman V2 Analog is merely readable.
The Huntsman V2 Analog has a plastic chassis with an aluminum deck. Razer, unlike most of its competitors, doesn't finish the deck in a way that's obviously metallic. This cheapens the look, but it still feels rock solid. This a hefty keyboard, weighing in at 2.5 pounds.

Vizio Elevate Soundbar Review: an Affordable Dolby Atmos Home Theater

The Elevate is designed to offer a full 5.1.4 surround sound solution in a convenient package, complete with a soundbar, satellite speakers, and a subwoofer. The system comes with everything you need and it even features built-in amplification so you don't have to buy a receiver.
With its up-firing speakers, the Elevate can make it seem like sound effects are coming from above your head. The front speakers also feature a clever rotating design, which allows them to automatically switch from up-firing to front-firing positions depending on what you're watching.
I've been reviewing home theater products for nearly a decade, and after spending a month with the Elevate, I've come away impressed by the soundbar's performance and value. The system's software is a little glitchy, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better 5.1.4 home theater package for this price.

The Best Books of April 2021, According to Amazon's Editors

Once inseparable, identical twins El and Cat have been estranged for 12 years when El goes missing and Cat returns to their childhood home after two decades spent far away. As children, imagination ruled within this house, which the girls called Mirrorland. As each piece of the puzzle — El's disappearance, the memories Cat buried in the dark corners of her mind — falls into place,
the desire to know what is fantasy versus reality, and what truths lie behind a wall of denial, becomes more urgent and terrifying. Johnstone has plenty of tricks up her sleeve in this suspenseful tale of betrayal and revenge, memory and imagination, and the thin line between love and hate. —

HomeSmart King-Sized Weighted Blanket Product Review 2021

The best blanket I've tested so far is the HomeSmart Products King Size Weighted Blanket. It's large enough to cover me and my giant feet as I stretch out my six-foot, 200-pound frame, it breathes well to keep me from overheating at night, and I can just toss it in the washing machine when it's dirty. Here are my experiences using the blanket over the past two years.
Design
The HomeSmart Products Weighted Blanket gets its weight from tiny glass beads that are sewn into the 400-thread count organic cotton fabric. The blanket is made up of several compartments that keep the beads — and thus, weight — evenly distributed. The pockets are approximately 5 inches by 5 inches.

When is the best time to buy a laptop?

Sean Gallup/Getty Images
The end of July through the middle of August is one of the best time periods of the year for laptop deals. Students of all ages are getting ready to go back to school, and this is the time when retailers try their best to cater to their needs.
Outlets like Staples, B&H, and Best Buy have online and in-store back-to-school deals, while Amazon —as well as  individual manufacturers such as  HP and Lenovo — have discounts on their websites.
Apple also jumps into the fray during this time of year, usually offering to throw in a free pair of headphones or Airpods with a qualifying student purchase. However, Apple does not tend to lower their already-discounted student pricing, instead opting to entice buyers with their extra offerings.
