Developers. it will be shutdown in april of 2019 instead of august. google said 52 million people were affected by a bug in the november software update. it allowed software updates to access information not marked public. it had access to the information for six days. google has no word it was miss used and did -- misused and did not include passwords. it fixed it within a week of discovery. this is not the first time google found a bug. it disclosed a similar bug in september. it allowed developers to access profile data which wasn't public. the bug reportedly affected 500,000 accounts. the ...

Yesterday the company announced it discovered another google+ bug that exposed private profile data of millions of users. there is no evidence that developers have abused the bugs or that any use of profile data has been misused in any way incidents like this -- it raises questions about how much control users should have over their own data and how such control should be regulated. i am also disturbed by recent reports that google is developing a search engine for the chinese mainland market. according to these reports the search engine would not only accommodate sensors it might allow the ch...
