Developments, but we begin at the weather map with al roker. As if the threat of this potentially historic storm isn t enough, we re already seeing tornadoes. That s right. And this was kind of the worst case scenario, chris, because we were talking about this for the last two days. We were going to see these tornadoes, especially as it approached, and sure enough that s what happened. Let s show you what we ve got going on right now. As far as our map is concerned, we are looking at a category 4 storm. 150 miles now southwest of tampa. It s got 130 miles per hour winds. It s moving northeast at 16 miles per hour. Now, as we look, you can see we have tornado watches now from daytona beach all the way down to key west. We ve had reports of 50 tornadoes so far in the last couple of hours. And now we have numerous, multiple tornado warnings going on to the west, i should say the east of tampa and sarasota, to the west of west palm beach, and right between west palm beach and fort myers. Out the facts. But more and more and in the world in which we live but it has always been the way, ever since there has been war conflicts and wars always unfold on two levels. One is the facts on the ground and the other is the perception of the facts on the ground. And these perceptions now have become an increasingly hostile battlefield. I don t need to tell both of you that it is nothing less than a battle for the truth. So, that it s notjust that something happened, it s what other people think happened. And that feeling of what they think happened can matter more in the evolution of the conflict and in terms of how the story is told and retold and told again and then, it becomes history. And the efforts of the people within these stories to influence how the media helps shape those perceptions, they must ve changed the way that they try and influence how you and many others cover the stories? they have many more tools now. Before, it was simply face to face. Then, we went thr ....

Good afternoon. Water companies in england and wales have been ordered to repay nearly £158 Million to their customers. The Regulator Ofwat says its because the firms have failed to meet performance targets such as cutting Sewage Spills and leaks. Some future Water Bills will be reduced to reflect the missed targets. Our Environment Correspondent Jonah Fisher reports. A warning this report contains flashing images. This Report Card does not make pleasant reading for the Water Companies. Targets for reducing leaks are not being hit, the number of Pollution Incidents has hardly changed in the last five years and Customer Satisfaction has continued to fall. Three Water Companies anglian, southern and welsh are rated bottom of the class. The others are just average, with none rated in the top category. So we think the sector suffers from a culture of poor performance, that companies are not taking responsibility for their performance. They are too often blaming the weather or the circumst ....

Our international editor Jeremy Bowen has been talking to young palestinians and israelis about how they view the war. Its been another brutal, sad day. In gaza, more funerals of palestinians killed by israel. Talking peace will come much later. What about people caught up in the war . Injerusalem we met Israeli Army reservists who spent months on active service in gaza and on the lebanese border. The world thinks we have two options, to go to war or sign a ceasefire or a peace agreement. Im sorry to say that we have two options a very bad war right now or much worse in the future. I feel that right now, israel is kind of stuck in the middle with a western world that doesnt really know how to talk about the war, Cos War is a bad thing, its always something you can decide not to have, its always up to you as a western country, and you can decide to have peace, as if you can decide to have a relationship with someOne. You will have heard a lot of criticism of israel for killing civilians ....
