Their priorities are. you talk about the new polling, too, on where people stand on impeachment. it seems like it s been fairly steady. we showed that new poll, if we can bring it back up, this morning that has come out now. about half of americans think, yes, impeach and remove. how problematic is that for the republicans? it shows that the progress arguments they ve been making are working. they re sticking firmly with the president. they re not trying to convince the entire country this is not worth doing, they re just trying to create a firewall within the republican base. that pressure flows up. members go home, we re going home for a recess for the next week. members are going to hear from their constituents what are you doing to stand by the president. this sounds strange, but republicans think they had a good day yesterday because they were able to go to the floor and have a united vote to fight for the president. democrats don t think they had a terrible day either, righ ....
