　　AI对人类蛋白结构的预测能力近日又取得了突破性进展。谷歌旗下人工智能公司DeepMind于7月22日在《自然》杂志上发表论文称，其人工智能系统AlphaFold2已经能够预测人类98.5%的蛋白结构。
　　这些数据集将被完全免费开源，以支持全球科研人员在生命科学领域的研究。用DeepMind创始人哈撒比斯的话来说，他们希望“把Al的力量交到全世界手中”。
　　科学家将这一颠覆性突破成果的意义与人类基因组计划相提并论。上世纪90年代，人类基因组计划开始成形时，科学家意识到光掌握基因的碱基排列是不够的，还必须了解基因的产物蛋白质。
　　中国科学院院士、结构生物学家、西湖大学校长施一公认为，AlphaFold对蛋白结构的精准预测，是人工智能对科学领域最大的一次贡献，也是人类在 21 世纪取得的最重要的科学突破之一。
