[cheering and applauding] >> i know there are several people here tonight who nominated the portola as the come back neighborhood of the award of the year. neighborhood of the year award. i'm sure there were several nominaters. so, i'm very humble to be able to present my nomination and the reasons why i think we deserve tonight's award. i'm a relative newcomer to the neighborhood, only 13 years, and there are many more folks who have been there for their whole lifetime. several years ago as even chrisy talked about, i first saw the portola...

it was gibe ons, the head wig of the wig party in san francisco that nominated this organization. i would like to invite morgan to come up now and make a few remarks. * he's making sure san francisco remains san francisco. and, so, morgan, please come on up to the stage. we're going to put in a park. we're going to do safety initiatives. we're looking for grant money for more beautification. if anybody is interested in starting a neighborhood watch and getting involved, call me and i can help you get started. it's a great thing to know your neighbors, even the ones who are a pain in the neck. it's a great thing to know your neighbors.
