I just think for a vast majority of african-americans are more concerned about defeating donald trump. i don't think a lot of them are willing to take the chances of supporting someone who they may actually like, but they may believe don't have the ability to sort of create the type of coalition necessary to beat trump in 2020. i think they look at someone like maybe joe biden who is considered to be a moderate pragmatist as someone who cannot only bring in older african-americans but can also bridge the gap with some of those whiter american voters. if biden is smart, he would choose a younge...
