Review of 11 Canadian tech companies to watch in 2020
For the past few years, thanks to the team at BetaKit, I’ve had the opportunity to share my thoughts on some of the companies I’m excited about in the Canadian tech landscape. I’ll be doing the same for the year ahead, but I first wanted to take a moment to review last year’s list, and see what 2020 had in store for each of them.
To say that it was an unusual year is an understatement, and it feels like a lifetime ago that I last wrote about each of them. Going through last year’s list feels like looking through old high school yearbooks full of young, optimistic faces before they marched off to face the harsh realities of the unforgiving real world. Ok, that might be a bit dramatic but you get the point. So let’s see how each of last year’s companies fared in 2020! ....

A lot changing and a lot of questions over what we have heard and the way we ve heard it. the president is highlighting this report initially the washington examiner byron york reporting the whistleblower has ties to a democratic presidential candidate. president highlighted in this tweet here she should be exposed and questioned properly. no whistleblower. the whistleblower lawyer is a big democrat and ties to one of my democratic opponents. referencing back to that report that there is some sort of tie there. i know you were in the questioning of the inspector general atkinson. can you confirm the whistleblower has ties to one of the presidential candidates? i won t talk about anything that happened within that particular conversation because it was a closed hearing. supposed to be. i m not one who goes and leaks things from various interviews that are supposed to be closed. let me say this. those are the types of things we need to know which goes further did why did adam schiff ....

Questioned properly. but the daily beast reports some republicans would like the president to keep quiet. quote, the fear emanating from capitol hill and other members of the gop is that trump s proclivity for going on the attack is harming his long-term political prospects. but the report adds this, there s no mass panic at this stage from members of the house gop on impeachment. that was evident as the president s staunchest allies came out in force today. adam schiff should be a witness at this point. he should be out of this investigation all together. the proper procedures should be followed and i m not sure nancy pelosi should be a witness, too. whether they ll do the formal inquiry, i don t know. they continue to make the rules up as they go along. american people are beginning to see nancy pelosi and adam schiff like going behind closed doors where they can only leak out information they want to have and nobody in this country believes that s america. ....
