Tasked with searching for classified documents at mar-a-lago after the doj issued a subpoena, told associates he was waved off from searching trump s office, the same place the fbi later found the most sensitive materials that were stored on the palm beach property. the guardian is reporting that attorney evan corcoran recounted that several trump aides told him to search the storage room, telling him that all the materials brought to mar-a-lago from the white house had been stored there. corcoran did find 38 classified documents in that storage room. he then asked if he could search elsewhere on the property including trump s office, but he was reportedly steered away from doing so and never searched the former president s office. the lawyer then told prosecutors the 38 documents he found were the extent of the materials at mar-a-lago. but, of course, months later the fbi seized 101 classified documents from multiple ....
