Reilly Arts Center in Ocala will be overflow COVID-19 vaccination site
(EDITOR S NOTE: This story has been changed to reflect that the vaccination program at Paddock Mall will be held in the common area near the Belk store.)
The Florida Department of Health, an independent local health clinic and the Reilly Arts Center are coming together to create an Ocala vaccination site that will be run by volunteers to expedite shots to the community.
The site will be utilized once the Florida Department of Health in Marion County receives more COVID-19 vaccine doses than it can distribute on its own in a week s time. Mark Lander, the administrator for the local health department, said such sites will be an important part of Marion s vaccine rollout. ....
