Boys & Girls Club seeking 150 Polar Fest 'plungers' for Feb. 26 event
The 26th Annual Polar Fest Plunge to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Detroit Lakes is set for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26 on the ice of Little Detroit Lake. The club is seeking 150 'plungers' — a nod to the city's year-long Sesquicentennial festivities, which will come to a close with February's Polar Fest — to sign up for the Plunge, with each required to raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to participate.
