5:40 p.m.: Cole County adds 6 new positive cases
The Cole County Health Department will now show positive case totals by day, which reflects the date the specimen was collected instead of the date the results were received by the Health Department.
This change will cause a delay in the daily totals being reported for the current day. The county is also no longer reporting active or isolated cases.
There have been 7,781 cases in Cole County, an increase of 6 cases since Friday. There have been 270 cases in long-term care facilities.
In the updated graph below, you can see the number of cases added by specimen collection date for the month of April thus far.

Thursday COVID-19 Coverage: CPS reports no active staff cases


7 p.m.: CPS reports no staff members positive for COVID-19.
The Columbia Public Schools 14-day case rate per 10,000 people is at 9.9.
The updated CPS student tracker shows 33 students in the district currently in quarantine and 6 active student cases.
To break the student cases down:
Elementary schools: 17 quarantined, 1 positive cases, 10 out of 21 schools affected
Middle schools: 9 quarantined, 2 positive case, 5 out of 7 schools affected
High schools: 6 quarantined, 3 positive cases, 3 out of 4 schools affected
Other: 1 quarantined
The district has seen 2,737 quarantined student cases and 644 positive student cases since June 2020.
The updated CPS staff tracker also shows 5 staff members currently in quarantine and no active staff cases. 1 staff member is out due to EFMLA laws.

MU Health Care postpones Friday first dose vaccination event; second dose event not affected


COLUMBIA- MU Health Care has postponed Friday's first dose vaccination event at Faurot Field. The health care company says they have not yet received the 4,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine that was expected this week. 
Those scheduled to receive a second Pfizer dose on Friday will be able to receive their vaccination as scheduled. Those doses are not affected by the shipment delay. 
MU Health Care says they hope to receive the vaccine in time to hold their first-dose event scheduled for Sunday. 
“We will notify people who have appointments for Friday to let them know their appointments are postponed until we receive the vaccine. Once we receive the vaccine, we will reach out to reschedule the appointments," Brad Myers, MU Health Care Director of Pharmacy and Laboratory Services, said.

6 p.m.: Callaway County adds 42 new cases
Callaway County's now has a total of 360 active cases, an increase of 42 from Friday. There have been a total of 3,656 cases in Callaway County since the start of the pandemic.
According to the Callaway County COVID-19 dashboard, there are an additional 12 active cases in the Callaway County Department of Corrections and no active cases in the Fulton State Hospital.

Tuesday COVID-19 Coverage: Rural Missouri lacking vaccination sites as new tiers begin


10:30 p.m.: Mid-Missouri counties daily COVID-19 numbers
Randolph County reported 21 new cases today making their total number of active cases 95. Of those cases there are currently 8 hospitalizations. The county also reported one new death.
Moniteau County recorded 7 new cases bringing their total of active cases to 50. The county currently has 4 hospitalizations. 
Howard County reported 14 new cases today making the total active cases 38. There were no hospitalizations but the county had 5 new deaths today.
Macon County reported their numbers today from January 14th to January 18th making their new cases for the county 49. Their total number of active cases is 97 with 11 hospitalizations and 19 deaths.
