Michigan ski resort opens state’s first Pump Track for late winter fun Updated Feb 28, 2021; Facebook Share THOMPSONVILLE, MI - Just in time for some later winter fun, Crystal Mountain resort has opened what they believe is the state’s first Pump Track for skiers and snowboarders. Mountain bike riders will get the drift of this, as it’s similar to the undulating rollers or gentle “bumps” that are built into some trails. Crystal Mountains’ new feature follows that same type of design. It debuted in late February in a slow zone along the edge of the resort’s North Face runs.
