Hawai'i Fire Department provides mutual aid in brush fire burning at Pōhakuloa Training Area : Big Island Now
According to officials, the fire started early in the morning in the area of mile marker 41 along Daniel K. Inouye Highway and is well within the Pōhakuloa Training Area.
