MUNISING – Daniel Fortin, son of Bonita Croschere and the late Terrance Fortin, Stevens Lake area, Wetmore, has enlisted in the Michigan Army National Guard. Fortin is assigned to the 117st Quartermaster Company in Munising. He will leave March 20 for eight weeks of basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. After he’s graduated from basic training, he’ll attend nine weeks of advanced technical training at Fort Lee, VA. as a petroleum supply specialist. Fortin is a 1984 graduate from Eben High School (now Superior Central) and is employed at Superior Shores Nursing Center in Munising. ....
