The Spectrum Awards ceremony, formally known as the James M. Holobaugh Honors, recognized eight student and alumni advocates for the LBGTQ+ community, March 20.
Organized by the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement at Washington University in St. Louis, Civic Action Week run from Oct. 16-22. Events include the art exhibit “The Queer Experience: Joy as Resistance,” a panel about labor rights and a WashU Votes happy hour for graduate students.
The series will address various facets of queer experience and allyship such as intersections with culture, neurodivergence and disability.
