Recently, the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife confirmed that 6,557 acres of Weyerhaeuser timberlands have been opened to the public through their private lands access program. Those acres are located primarily in the Cascade foothills south of Mount St. Helens and on the east side of Interstate 5.
