Kevorious Rankins, 16, and Ivan Floyd, 17, were each charged with two counts of second degree assault and reckless murder and were placed in the Montgomery County Detention Facility on May 28. On Sunday, April 18, at about 10 p.m., MPD and Fire Medics responded the 2300 block of Day Street in reference to several people shot. McReynolds had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Two minors and two adults were also shot at the scene. ....
Octavious Grace, 17, and Denzel Donald-White, 18, were taken into custody Thursday in connection with the death of 34-year-old Queneisa McReynolds. Officers were then called to the 2300 block of Day Street about 10 p.m. Sunday in reference to multiple people shot, Montgomery police Capt. Saba Coleman said Monday. McReynolds was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound. She was rushed from the scene to a hospital, where she died, Coleman said. The gunfire also left one juvenile boy with a life-threatening injury, a juvenile girl, man and woman each with a non-life threatening injury. All were taken to the hospital for treatment. Grace and White were each charged with reckless murder and two counts of second-degree assault. They were both booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility, Coleman said. No mugshots were immediately available for the pair. ....
