Filed in HBCUs on December 11, 2020 Historically Black Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina has signed an agreement with Vance-Granville Community College in Henderson, North Carolina. The agreement is designed to improve transfer student access and success through a collaborative baccalaureate degree program. Transfer students must complete an associate of arts, an associate of science, or an associate of fine arts degree from Vance-Granville Community College. They must also maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. Once students complete their associate degrees, they are guaranteed admission to ECSU. Application fees for these transfer students will be waived. Vance-Granville Community College enrolls nearly 3,200 students according to the latest data supplied to the U.S. Department of Education.
