Kevin Stitt's signing of Senate Bill 647 on Wednesday, grieving parents will have a choice about what happens to their child's remains, regardless of where they experience miscarriage or stillbirth. Known as "Lily's Law," SB647 requires birthing centers and other medical facilities to keep a written policy that will allow families to have a say in the disposition of their child's remains in the event of a miscarriage or stillbirth.
