H.O. Brittingham Elementary students Aalyna Johnson and Tyler Taylor were recognized Feb. 17 with the African American/Black Achievement Award from the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice.
Principal Kyle Bentley said Aalyna and Tyler came to mind immediately when nominations were requested for the award. Both fifth-graders serve on the school leadership team and are role models for all remote and in-person students. ....
