Brno Airport hits passenger milestone and prepares for its first long-haul passenger flights
Brno, 13th November – BRNO AIRPORT a.s. has hit a historic milestone, handling over 664,000 passengers during the first 10 months of this year. This exceeds the previous record of 2011, with 558,000 passengers flying over the course of that year. The busiest months were during the summer holidays, which saw over half a million passengers travelling between the start of June and the end of September, a 47% increase compared to last year and up 34% on the pre-Covid year of 2019.
