Report that Alstom trains didn't meet city specs dismissed as 'a mistake', LRT commission hears
The consortium overseeing construction of Ottawa’s LRT system told the city that the Alstom Citadis train chosen was only rated to operate down to -25 C, not -38 C as specified in the contract requirements, the commission examining the system's troubles heard Monday.
