IMD has issued red alerts in multiple parts of the country due to heavy rainfall predictions in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and parts of Delhi NCR.
IMD has issued a red and orange alert in seven states across the county, while light to moderate rains lashed parts of Delhi and NCR in the early hours of Tuesday.
Garuda Aerospace based in Tamil Nadu told News18 that its logistics and delivery drones have been deployed in Assam as well as Himachal Pradesh to support the National Disaster Response Force
According to officials, the Garhi Mandu village near the Signature Bridge in Wazirabad is submerged. A majority of the people have been taken to safety and the rest are being evacuated on boats.
