SURAT: Surat additional sessions judge Rajdipsinh Devdhara allowed investigation officer’s request for voice spectrograph test of the murder accused.
As per the case, Mehul Lakhani (47), an ambulance driver, was arrested on June 20 last year for the murder of his 26-year-old daughter-in-law. Lakhani allegedly murdered her after she got divorce from his son.
Udhna Police moved this application in the court to get custody of the accused for voice spectrograph test. The cops want to verify the voice which it recovered from accused’s mobile phone in which he reportedly talked about the murder after committing the crime. ....
